That’s what my siblings thought when I sent them this picture. But I promise I’m not reliving my college days at a glow-in-the-dark rave. It was actually Flow-and-Glow Yoga up at Keystone Yoga for St. Patrick’s Day. (Kristen from Keystone is teaching Yoga in the Garden this Saturday at Kerby’s – buy your tickets here.) The girls had a great time painting themselves with glow markers, and if you look really closely at the picture, you can see the pink mustache that they tried to draw on me.
The girls were really excited to go to yoga until they realized that the Taylor Swift Eras Tour released on Disney+ at exactly the same time we were scheduled to go to class. I told them that Taylor could wait, we had to go to our class. “We won’t be the first to watch it at the very first minute it is available” was their response. But they ultimately decided it was ok, and we had a great time flowing and glowing at Keystone.
But it gets better. It turns out they read the time wrong. It was released at 6 pm, but Pacific Time, not Eastern Time. So by the time we got home, they were still able to be the first to watch (at least in our household. It’s not like they haven’t already seen the movie and listened to the albums non-stop for the last 5 months…) Needless to say, we were well-stretched and well-Swifted by day’s end!
Thanks to everyone who came out to this year’s Easter Egg Hunt. The weather was delightful, the eggs were well-hidden, and even so, they were found as always in record time. And as we roll into April, we are in peak garden season. Time to get your favorite flowers, shrubs, and trees planted now while the nights are still a little cooler. It’s one of the best times of year for plants to get established. And don’t forget the resources on our website to help your garden succeed: Planting Instructions, Watering Instructions, and much more. Plus, get more time in the garden by using our Kerby’s Kerbside Service where you can buy plants online and pick up in store. Come out to yoga to flow, then head into the garden to grow.
