If you are a regular Kerby’s shopper, you know that we like to change things up. I mean, if you aren’t changing, then you are just staying the same, right? Whenever I hear someone comment, “You’ve really moved things around,” my response is always, “we just like to keep you on your toes.”

And this season is no different. When you come in this spring, you’ll notice something missing at the front of the nursery. (To watch our version of demo day, click here.). In its place, a new checkout building will be built. Of course, as with all construction, the time frame of said building isn’t up to us, but good things come to those who wait. In the meantime, we’ve moved the outdoor checkout under our big white tent. You can’t miss it when you are coming in or ready to check out. The good news is that with this temporary cover, you’ll be a little more protected from the elements at the front of the store when we inevitably get into rainy season.

So, stay on your toes when you come see us this season. As construction begins, we’ll make sure that you know just how to get in and out of the store. And we promise it will be worth it. You’ll be able to checkout in a covered space, protected from rain and wind, and, to match our new easily accessible bathrooms, it will be easy to get in and out of for everyone. We are hopeful that it will be completed over the summer, but right now, it’s time to focus on spring. The tables at the nursery are bursting with beautiful color, and we are starting to see butterflies fluttering about everywhere we look. Your garden has been there for you throughout this last year; now get out and let it give you the strength, patience, and appreciation for life that you need to make an amazing 2021.
