Loquat make great shade trees, but did you know they also bear fun fruit? Depending on the variety, they can be tart or sweet. They have a soft, peach-like flesh with 1-3 seeds in the center.
Our staff enjoys picking them off our mature Loquat trees on the Nursery property – they have a multitude of fruit! They can be used to make jelly and jam, cheesecake, curry, and more.
