Happy Fourth of July! Typically, Tuesdays are Teaching Tuesdays on our socials [and they become Teaching Thursdays on our website and in our e-newsletter], but since it’s a holiday, we’re taking it easy and just want to remind you of one thing: remember to water your plants.
Even though it’s rainy season here in Florida, it doesn’t rain every day, but it is summer, so it is hot every day. Consistent watering is key to happy plants.
And if you’re establishing new plants, you might have to water even on days it rains. One inch of rain penetrates about a foot deep, so if we only have a light afternoon drizzle, that’s probably not enough for, say, your new tree.
We want you to succeed in your garden, so let us know if you have any questions about watering, planting, or fertilizing, you name it, we’re here to assist.
